During the spring, SCCTM sponsored a statewide poster contest for elementary students.  The theme of the contest was "The Many Faces of Mathematics."  Entries had to be received by April 1 and were judged during the month of April.   Student winners are receiving savings bonds.  Their teachers are receiving one-year memberships in SCCTM and vouchers for free registration at our fall conference in Greenville.  Plans are already underway for the 2006 elementary poster contest.  The theme and guidelines will be announced this fall.
